정말 좋아하는 가수의 곡! Friends로 입덕하고 나서 듣게된 곡이 Then이었다.  어쿠스틱 버전이었는데 호소력 짙은게 장점인 앤마리의 목소리가 빛을 발하는 영상이었다. 새벽에 이 노래를 들을때면 감동받아서 훌쩍거리기도 했다.

 여자는 6년동안 남자를 사귀면서 전적으로 사랑하고 그를 위해줬지만 남자는 그러지 않았고 아무리 노력해도 변하지 않는 모습에 결국 곁을 떠나고 만다. 내가 좋아하는 가사는 "네 위에 있는 나의 몸을 잊지마. 한때는 너를 위해 죽을수도 있었어. 널 사랑했었어 하지만 그땐 그랬었지." 부분이다. 왜 인간은 소중한 사람이 곁에 있을 때는 소중함을 알지 못하는 걸까? 익숙함이라는 것은 참 좋으면서도 무서운 감정인 것 같다. 없다 있는 것보다 있다 없는 것이 더 힘들다. 돈이든지, 물건이든지, 사람이든지. 잊지말아야하는데 자꾸 잊어버리게 된다. 오늘도 이 노래를 들으면서 다시 한 번, 소중한 사람들에 대해 생각하게 된다.
